The National Hajj Commission NAHCON has released the new currency for the 2024 Hajj In Nigeria

A few days ago, the agency invested four million and five hundred thousand naira as pre-pen, but in the announcement it issued, it said that it intended to leave this money as Hajj money, but this will not be possible due to the broken value of the naira.

At the moment, the agency said that men from the south of Nigeria will pay N4,899,000 as Hajj fee and those from the north of the country will pay N4,699,000, and those from Yola and Maiduguri states will pay N4,  679,000.

In a statement released by the agency's spokesperson, Fatima Sanda Usara, she stated that the agency has advised people to pay the remaining Hajj fees by Monday, February 12 to allow the agency to transfer the Hajj fees.  .

This increase comes at a time when the value of the naira is falling, which has caused economic pressure in the country.
